Yes, Henrietta and Sister both lay blue eggs!!! It’s almost like finding a prize in the nesting boxes everytime we get one or two.
Henrietta and Her Crooked Beak
Cock-a-doodle doo! Cock-a-doodle doo! crowed the rooster over the barnyard. The sound broke the silence of the morning. Hope farm woke up.
Henrietta rustled her feathers and clucked. She wasn’t ready to wake up. She was dreaming. She was beautiful. She was brown with black feathers that looked like lace around her neck. Her bright red comb crowned a beatiful…beak.
Here, she stopped. Here, she always stopped. For in her dream, her beak was straight. When she woke up, her beak was crooked.
